Bens Translator – WordPress Plugin

Bens Translator is a WordPress Translator Plugin. It uses Google Translator to translate pages and save a cached version to be displayed to your visitors. This allows the translated versions to be indexed by search engines something the “official” google translate does not. Bens Translator can increase you google traffic in other languages.

Features

    Why not an option in order to “recach” some pages individualy.

    For example an other tab like the one in /wp-admin/admin.php?page=bens-translator/core/bentr-translated.php
    but for do a new forced cache at clicking in the balls.

      I think now that may be enough to do some way to send a page to the stale folder by a simple click on a colored ball.
      The function is already done, I think.
      Do you agree with me?

        I’ve changed
        if ($_POST['sort'] == ‘name’) {
        $sortby = ‘post_title’;
        } else if ($_POST['sort'] == ‘date’) {
        $sortby = ‘post_date’;
        } else {

        }

        by

        if ($_POST['sort'] == ‘name’) {
        $sortby = ‘post_title’;
        } else if ($_POST['sort'] == ‘date’) {
        $sortby = ‘post_date’;
        } else {
        $sortby = ‘post_date’;
        }

        in bentr-translated.php because I prefer sorted by date as default. May be others prefer the same.

        Another modification I did and reommend is to put as comments, o delete a sentence (really 2):

        // $permalink_lang = $permalink_lang . “/”;

        because it provoque a double “/” at the end of links in the balls

    One of my sites uses qtranslate and I use the qtranslate version of the sitemap plugin. However Ben’s translator doesnt seem to register that plugin, only the basic plugin. Can you offer any help?

    Detected bugs:
    -files are not moved to stale dir. I thin because funtion think file doesn’t exists.
