How to Setup Your Own Router with o2 Broadband
The o2 Home router for LLU is not the best piece of kit, especailly when it comes to wireless performance and sync speed. If you are here you probably want to setup your own modem or router to connect to o2. Read on for the settings you will need.
o2 Router Settings
ISP name: O2 Home Broadband (Not Usually Needed)
Multiplexing method: LLC-Based
VPI: 0
VCI: 101
Username: leave blank
Password: leave blank
Domain name: leave blank
If you use a modem to connect to broadband. Then you need to set your modem up as follows
Connectivity mode/Encapsulation: RFC1483 Bridged (Also called; ETHoA, IPoATM or IPoA)
Multiplexing method: LLC-Based
VPI: 0
VCI: 101
You may need to spoof the IP address of your original o2 Router. This can be found on the label on the base of the router.
