How To Permanently Delete Your Facebook Account

If you have decided that enough is enough. You don’t want to know what friend is “Having a Bad Day” or the results of 20 quizes a day. Then you need to get that monkey off your back and delete your facebook account. Here is how.

Delete Your Facebook Account

• Go to this page: http://www.facebook.com/help/contact.php?show_form=delete_account
• Follow the instructions
• Your account will be deactivated for two weeks, and if you don’t log in during that period, your account is permanently deleted
• There is no need to delete your photos, comments or anything as according to Facebook they will all go

Please note that the deactivate option in the control panel will NOT delete your profile or any information. It will just turn off your account. Anything you posted will still show up in your friends profiles.
