Disable – This Program Might Not Have Installed Correctly
In Windows 7; it “helpfully” asks you if the program installed correctly. If it doesn’t report to Windows correctly. This can be very annoying if you are aware of how to set the compatability settings manually. Read on to find out how to disable this annoyance.
- Open the Start Menu and type in services.msc, Press enter
- Search for the Program Compatibility Assistant Service, Right click and select Properties
- Change the Startup Type to Disable and save
- The settings will take effect after a reboot
