I have the same problem but with windows xp as well but the problem is that i’m not sure how to fix it after the run part. :S help?

When you open the start menu and click run. you need to type in “ipconfig /flushdns” without the quotes.
Then you need to open the task manager as above and end the messenger process. Or you could reboot.
