Do You Get Windows Defender Error 0x800106ba?

Windows Defender may show the following error message

“Application failed to initialize: 0x800106ba. A Problem caused Windows Defender to stop. To start the service, restart your computer or search Help and Support on how to start a service manually.”

Instructions

Open the start menu and Control Panel
Select System and Maintenance and then click Administrative Tools then open Services
Double click on the Windows Defender service to open it, then chose the option to start automatic on start up, then click on the Start service button
