Enable Hidden Themes in Windows 7

There are 5 themes in Windows 7 that are not included in the default themes. These themes have pictures from the related country, these are:

  • ZA (South Africa)
  • US (United States)
  • GB (United Kingdom)
  • CA (Canada)
  • AU (Australia)

Windows 7 – Theme Pictures

Here is a preview of a picture from each theme

ZA (South Africa)

South Africa Background Windows 7

US (United States)

United States Background Windows 7

GB (United Kingdom)

United Kingdom Background Windows 7

CA (Canada)

Canada Background Windows 7

AU (Australia)

Australia Background Windows 7

Install The Hidden Themes

  • Open Windows Explorer (Windows Key + E) and go to C:\Windows\winsxs
  • Enter *.theme into the search field.
Search Hidden Theme Windows 7
  • Double-click the themes ZA, US, GB, CA, AU to install them

    Hi there, I am looking for the other photo’s in the Windows theme of South Africa; particularly the one of Table Mountain. Please can you tell me what the path is to access that on my computer?

      try this folder
      C:\Windows\winsxs\amd64_microsoft-windows-m..ttheme-za-component_31bf3856ad364e35_6.1.7600.16385_none_a361574c7d52bad0

      You can search for *.theme and then right click and “open file location” for the theme that includes it
