How to Disable Startup Programs in Windows 7
Many programs start every time you boot your computer. These programs sit in the background and take up resources with out your approval. This guide shows you how to disable these programs starting up upon boot.
- Open the Start Menu and type msconfig
- Open the Startup Tab. You can disable any programs that you don’t want to run by unticking them.
