How to Fix MSN Messenger Error Code 8000401a

When trying to login to MSN Messenger you may get the following error code: Error 8000401a. This is caused by a registry issue.

• If you are comforatable with editing the registry open the following key

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AppID\

• Backup Your Registry
  Delete the following key (I suggest using the find)
