Windows Messenger Error Code 8100030d. This error indicates that part of your cache may be corrupted
Instructions
- Close Messenger
- Open the start menu and in the search box (or Run in XP) type in %userprofile%\contacts and click ok
- A folder will open, if the folder is empty, click the Tools menu, then Options, then View tab, click Show hidden files or folders and click OK
- Once you can see the contained folders right-click the one that corresponds to your Passport (login) and delete it
- Next, click Start, then type
%userprofile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Windows Live Contacts
- Delete any folders in this folder
- Load Messenger and start again
