How to Fix Windows Update Error 80070490

When Windows Updates it may show the error code 80070490. This relates to an error downloading the update file.

Instructions

• Disable any 3rd party anti-virus/firewall you are running (Temporarily) and try again
• Run Check Disk, Open My Computer, Right Click on your hard drive and select Properties. Go to the Tools tab and click Check Now under error checking
