How to Login Automatically on Windows Vista or 7
For something like a home server or media computer logging in everytime you boot can be frustrating. But there is a small tweak built into windows to sort that out for you.
Instructions
- open the start menu and type run
- In the Run box type in
control userpasswords2
- Uncheck the box
Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer
- You may need to enter a username and password
- Save and reboot
