How to Password Protect Excel 2010 Workbooks
To keep you sensitive information you may want to protect your excel 2010 workbook, worksheet or the whole document. This guide shows you where this is located in the sometimes unfamiliar “ribbon”
Protect Excel 2010
- Open the File menu then click Info
- Then click Protect Workbook and choose what you want to password
- If you choose Encrypt with Password you will then be asked for a password. Finally save you excel document

Thnx buddy, how to give edit rights like in 2003 we have 2 security levels 1 is to open and the other is to edit, can i protect in the same way in office 2010.
