How to Show BCC in Outlook 2010

BCC allows you to send emails to recipients without them seeing the other recipients. In Outlook this is hidden by default and can be turned on very easily.

Show BCC Field in Outlook 2010

  • Open a new Email in Outlook
  • Select the Options tab in the ribbon
outlook 2010 ribbon tab
  • Click BCC in show fields

The BCC will now show each time you open an email.

Got off the phone with microsoft tech support with outlook not reading my gmail nickname’s bcc. Apparently that can’t be fixed. But I asked him where the place was to show the BCC folder as a default since all of the menus changed in 2010 Outlook. He said there wasn’t one. I said, so after having it in previous versions, they got rid of it? He said yes. Low and behold, you proved him wrong. I am sending him a link to this post.
