Remove Windows Live Messenger a Guide!
Windows Live Messenger can hang around after you have uninstalled it. This can cause problems reinstalling the software and makes error codes persist
Instructions
- Uninstall Windows Messenger with ZapMessenger (This will remove Windows Messenger and clean up any leftover files or registry keys)
- Download and install Windows Installer Cleanup Utility Here
- Run the utility, select all items relating Windows Live and remove them
- Reboot!
- Reinstall Windows Live Messenger
