Recover Missing Desktop Icons in Windows 7

If you are used to the “my computer”, “network places” or standard “recycle bin” icons on your desktop. It can be annoying if the icons go missing or you accidently delete them. Read on to learn how to re-enable them.

Restore Icons

• Right click the desktop and select personalise

• In the left hand menu bar click Change Desktop Icons

• Choose what icons you would like and click ok
