Remove Remote Desktop Login Wallpaper
Using Remote Desktop on most OEM systems like Dell and HP they like to add a desktop background to the RDP login. On a slow connection this takes ages to load and is just plain annoying. This guide will show you a simple registry tweak to disable this.
- Open regedit
- Navigate to the following key
HKEY_USERS\.default\control panel\desktop
- Remove the path from the wallpaper string
