Rename the Windows 7 Administrator Account
In Windows 7 the Administrator account is disabled by default. If you wish to create a new account with the login name of Administrator you need to rename the default administrator account. This guide shows you how.
Rename Administrator Account
- open the start menu and type secpol.msc
- Click Local Policies and then click on Security Option
- double click on Accounts: Rename administrator account and change the name
