Windows 7 Tip – Enable Location Aware Printing
A fantastic new feature in Windows 7 is the ability to enable “Location Aware Printing. This handy feature will change your default printer to match the network you are currently using. At home? fine its the HP, Gone to your Friends house? Ah they use an Epson.
Enable Location Aware Printing
- Open the Start Menu Then Devices and Printers
- Click on a printer and then in the menu bar click Manage Default Printers
- Select the radio button Change my default printer when I change networks
- Then Select the network you want and the default printer you wish to use and select Add

I use windows 7 ultimate and I do not see the manage printer tab in order to configure the location aware printing. Is there a place to turn it on first.
You may have to be part of a domain.
