How to Mount ISO, CUE, MDS, NRG Files using Daemon Tools

If you have downloaded a cd off the internet such as a linux distribution. It will more than likely come in an ISO format. It may also come in CUE, MDS and NRG formats. This article will show you how to mount these on your computer using Daemon Tools.

Mounting

Install

• First you will need to download and install Daemon Tools from here
• You will need to reboot twice as it installs a hardware driver

Mount the Image

• When you have Daemon Tools installed an icon will show in your task bar. Right click on this and navigate to virtual cd/dvd rom
• Set the number of devices to one

• Once the new device has been installed navigate back to the virtual device and select Mount Image

• Now navigate to your saved image and open

Thats it, if your CD does not autoplay then open my computer and manually run your CD.
